Binary Vortex is one of the easiest to use newsgroup downloader programs on the Internet. It is especially tailored to downloading pictures (i.e. jpeg, gif, bmp, etc). If you're looking for a newsgroup picture downloader, then Binary Vortex is probably the fastest and easiest thing for you to get started with. |

QuadSucker/News is a more advanced Newsgroup downloader than Binary Vortex is. QuadNews is a multithreaded design, which means it downloads four files simultaneously. This means that if you're downloading pictures, you'll be able to pull them down at an amazing rate. Android is a new downloader that is designed especially for downloading large files such as movies and music files. For example, it makes a great downloader for downloading mpeg and mpg videos. It also handles RAR archives and similar files, and of course will download small files like jpeg pictures as well. Android even includes a built in posting feature. |
