Seriously though, there are lots of reasons why newsgroup downloaders are better than website downloaders:

| newsgroups are usually a collaborative effort (lots of people sharing stuff) | Websites are usually owned by just one guy, who decides what to put up |
Nevertheless, if you really really just gotta have to download from a website, then there are some website downloading tools available, like QuadWeb (a web-companion to QuadNews).
